Growth Hormone: The Best Breakthroug in Medicine
Eric R. Braverman, MD
A New Paradigm for Medicine
The health care system can be confusing to the layperson
and to many physicians as well. Confusion occurs when
well being for Americans does not advance with the new
technologies and paradigms in medicine.
When I began medical school, "so called" brilliant
scholars at Harvard Medical School tried to convince
me that nutrition had no role in healthcare, even though
history from the Bible to Egypt and from the writings
of Maimonides to Hippocrates disagreed with them. "So
called" experts from the Environmental Protection Agency
(EPA) tried to convince the public that lead was safe
in our environment. They once claimed that 80 parts
per million and above of lead was toxic, now it only
takes 2 parts per million to cause toxicity. Finally,
"so called" experts from the Food and Drug Administration
(FDA) tried to convince the public that synthetic estrogen
(which is derived from horse urine) is safe for women.
I have decided to march to the drum of my different
vision of truth; truth based on the paradigm that the
human body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Dumping
garbage into the environment has the same polluting
effects as synthetic garbage has on the human body when
it is polluted with synthetic hormones and nutrient
deficient food. One in three Americans have cancer
for the same reasons why the average American has 11
heavy metals, 4-6 plastics and pesticides in their body.
Because our bodies are polluted by environmental
toxins
So the way to approach the research on Human Growth
Hormone (HGH) and cancer is from the "PATH" angle, or
the "big picture"; realizing that human beings are aging,
and the bulk of cancers occur because of toxic metal
and poison exposures. One in three aging people have
cancer not because of small increments in hormone levels,
but because of toxins. Small changes in IGF or HGH that
are trivial are not a big factor in developing cancer.
Assessing levels in cancer is not accurate.
Basketball players that are born with abnormally high
doses of growth hormone develop acromegaly and gigantism
as a result; do not have any significant increases in
cancer just because they have unusually high levels
of growth hormone. Children with a history of cancer
can take growth hormone safely, and children who have
taken growth hormone for years do not develop cancer.
Ironically, young individuals, who have the highest
levels of growth hormone in their bodies naturally,
have the lowest risks of cancer. Patients, who take
growth hormone or are abusing growth hormone such as
pro-athletes, are dying of complications related to
contamination and heart valve problems; not from cancer.
Growth hormone levels decrease so significantly with
aging that raising them slightly promotes the little
fight against the overall bone, muscle, and hair and
brain deterioration. It is advised and not dangerous,
if properly monitored. I have seen astounding results
with my patient's use of growth hormone including youthfulness,
physical strength, and more confidence in approaching
life's most difficult task; aging gracefully.
