Alzheimer's and Dementia

Keeping Your Mind...
Age related memory loss, Alzheimer's and dementia is a modern, preventable problem...
Every 67 seconds someone in the United States develops Alzheimer's.
Alzheimer's disease is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States
There are approximately 500,000 people dying each year because they have Alzheimer's.
1 in 3 seniors die from Alzheimer's or another form of dementia.
Nearly 44 million people are believed to be living with Alzheimer's disease or dementia.
On average, 300 million family members are affected, caring for loved one's with Alzheimer's.
On November 3, 1906, Dr. Alois Alzheimer described a fifty-one year old patient named "Augusta," who was exhibiting abnormal mental, language and behavior problems. Upon Augusta's death, during an autopsy, Dr. Alzheimer observed a "peculiar disease of the cerebral cortex." Dr. Alzheimer could see an accumulation of plaque amongst tangled, shrunken tissue in Augusta's brain. Eventually, scientist referred to this as "beta amyloid plaque."
What causes deadly plaque in the brain and arteries?
For the last hundred years, researchers have looked for the cause of Alzheimer's disease, especially since it is rare or nonexistent in rural, undeveloped countries such as Africa, India and rural South America. More and more, it appears that Alzheimer's is a disease of modern civilization with immutable evidence proving that Alzheimer's is an "environmental" disease.
A 2003 investigation using a typical American high cholesterol diet fed to mice, showed a clear increase in amyloid brain plaque and the subsequent, impaired mental function that ensued. However, when the laboratory was suddenly moved to a new location, the results couldn't be repeated.
The researchers were dumbfounded until they deduced the only difference was environmental, and not necessarily the high cholestrol diet. It was either the air quality and/or the water supply. Then they realized that the initial test used tap water and the second test used distilled water.
The researchers were able to determine that the supposedly acceptable level of copper in tap water was a powerful catalyst to producing harmful beta amyloid plaque in the brains of the mice. This was a huge shock because the copper level in the tap water was ten times lower than what's permitted by the EPA. Even though we need a small amount of copper for human health, clearly the amount of copper being permitted by the EPA in tap water is far to high for human health!
What prevents deadly plaque in the brain and arteries so I can improve my heart health, circulation, energy, stay mentally sharp and thrive?
Corroborative human studies
Soon after, Dr. Martha Morris discovered that unhealthy fats (trans fats, hydrogenated oils, highly refined oils, etc.) and high copper consumption accelerate mental decline among human adults. Her research showed that Americans (in particular) who consume unhealthy fats along with a high amount of copper; are most affected by a decline in mental faculties. Dr. Morris determined that high fat and high copper consumption accelerated brain aging the equivalent of nineteen years over a six-year period. This is nearly a three times acceleration of mental decline. Think about it; a sixty year old over a ten-year period would at age seventy, have "brain aged" thirty years to that of a 100 year old person's mental acuity.
Again, this isn't just happening to mice; it's happening to you and your loved one's. This is for real, and therein lies a huge potential problem… Not only does eighty percent of homes in the U.S. have copper water pipes, it was observed that those tested with the highest amount of copper not only received it from water, they received it from excess consumption of dietary supplements (good news, almonds and chocolate are usually all you need for the needed trace amounts of copper).
Essentially, too much copper hardens plaque and without chelation, prevents the natural removal of plaque. Ironically, Dr. Linus Pauling, the father of vitamin C, realized that mega-dosing with vitamin C inhibited plaque development. Perhaps the benefit was not only from the fact that vitamin C is mandatory, but high levels vitamin C also inhibits copper absorption!
"Published research and extensive clinical experience showed that EDTA helped reduce and prevent arteriosclerotic plaques, thus improving blood flow to the heart and other organs. The scientific evidence indicates that a course of EDTA chelation therapy might eliminate the need for bypass surgery."
Dr. Linus Pauling, MD, Two-time Nobel Prize winner, the "Father of Vitamin C"
Recently, researchers determined that genetically altered mice became less prone to toxic amyloid brain plaque accumulation because their genes were modified to have their cells absorb less copper, iron and calcium (not to mention cadmium, lead, aluminum, mercury and others), all which are ingredients to toxic beta amyloid plaque.
In another study, researchers analyzed copper levels in a large segment of healthy adults over a six-year period. Like Dr. Morris's study, those with high levels of copper experienced a mental decline that was also three times faster than adults with healthy copper levels. Iron is also known to cause similar damage because both metals can cause too much oxygen to the brain, creating "oxidative stress" that damages neurons, dendrites other brain tissue and accelerates the buildup of deadly amyloid plaque.
Additionally, copper, iron and calcium are attracted to fat and cholesterol, causing the oxidization of the bad LDL cholesterol. This "oxidative stress" leads to the buildup of plaque on artery walls and contributes to heart disease and atherosclerosis.
This information certainly indicates an immutable copper connection between plaque development and Alzheimer's disease. It clearly shows that copper and iron, essential minerals required to make red blood cells and collagen can be toxic at unhealthy high levels. They will damage the proteins responsible for the removal of plaque from the brain and arteries.
CardioPure Rx EDTA chelation is the life saving way…
"It is my belief that virtually everyone could benefit from the continuous lifetime (oral) ingestion of EDTA... Generally, the toxic materials removed by intravenous EDTA chelation simply start to re-accumulate once the treatment is discontinued... Oral EDTA in our toxic world may become as essential for health as an essential nutrient, and it appears to offer potential benefits as diverse as those seen with some essential nutrients..." ~Garry F. Gordon, MD
A scientific and intelligent approach to prevent plaque accumulation in the brain and arteries is to chelate these minerals/metals, such as copper, iron, cadmium, lead, aluminum, mercury and others with BlockBusterX™x EDTA. This is because all of these metals are involved in the onset of beta amyloid plaque accumulation and atherosclerotic plaque.
Besides many studies on various forms of EDTA, the theory of chelation has gone from theoretical to practical with the FDA approval of a copper-chelating drug called Clioquinol. In research, Clioquinol reduced beta amyloid plaque by 49% in the brains of laboratory animals.
Naturally you do not want to completely remove copper so you want a product with a lower affinity towards copper and a high affinity towards calcium. This is certainly what BlockBusterX™ EDTA provides.
Remember, prevention is the best cure. The daily use of BlockBusterX™ acts as a potent super antioxidant and is a safe and effective way to shield you while removing the accumulated and daily absorption of toxic substances and plaque. Even though you eat right, drink purified water and everything else, toxic substances are in the air, food, water and they also occur in your natural metabolic production of free radicals in everyday life, and there is nothing that you can do about it.
The sheer statistics tell all. Dr. Bruce Halstead has documented scientific studies of the safety of EDTA. Dr. Halstead cites that in the U.S. from 1970–1980, 100,000 patients received in excess of 2,000,000 treatments of EDTA chelation without any reports of significant toxicity. Doctors all around the world have used versions of EDTA for over fifty years safely, and the patients end up healthier than before.
